But the economics behind it is that,once facebook acquires it ,people will start to think Whatsapp is now with facebook team and we can expect anything like increasing charges or creating a payment schedule for whatsapp,for which as a starting facebook have initialised the facebook messenger as an attack.

In my view,in coming days there is an utter possibility for you to either adjoins the messenger and whatsapp or to increase the possibilities of fb messenger to slowly eradicate the usage of Whatsapp and forcing people to use facebook itself.

The major problem arised in this is by apps like Hike in India/asian  and Blackberry messenger in USA,UK and certain other apps. But yet due to certain errors and programme errors in such apps,it made whatsapp itself to be the best competing app in the market to be feared.
